On ya bike.

How to work with children.

“MPC grabbed the bull by the horns and created a video that was rousing, persuasive and highly credible for the audience.

This was no mean feat, achieved with massive professionalism, commitment and can-do. And it was FUN.

With 280,000 views and shares after two weeks, I’m delighted with the reach we’ve achieved already. Thanks Cousins!”

What could possibly go wrong? Filmed on the streets of London in uncontrolled environments, captured in between helicopters flying over, trucks offloading and ambulances racing past.

Some people see this as challenging, we see it as fun. Kids are smart, intuitive and sensitive, they are simply young adults, create a safe environment and let them shine.

This project was timed very exactly and carefully pre-planned, we had a lot to cover in a short time (which we did) The kids never felt rushed as this was critical to get the best results and a great experience. (These go hand in hand).

“The MPC team were understanding, flexible, supportive and insightful.

They encouraged us to challenge our thinking and allowed us to take our ideas to the next level. I personally took a lot of learning away from this project alongside a video that has proven to be a great asset to the work of the Taskforce in championing child health and the voice of children.”

Still Here? Stills Here

As time was super tight we decided to extract stills from our Video footage, this isn’t something we’d recommend doing for all projects but it perfectly suited this one.

The interviews are actually a series of talking portraits, so the stills you see above are extracted from this footage. The advantage being we can deliver a number (47) of usable stills with almost zero impact on our filming schedule. These stills were used in a multitude of ways to support the campaign, please see a couple of examples below.
