Easy. At a glance our task appeared straight forward: ‘Tell their story’ using video.
However, it’s not enough to ask a few questions and simply record footage, we need to nurture a genuine rapport with our subjects, this creates friendly filming environments so people feel comfortable sharing their story openly.
We believe this part of the process is more important than camera or lens choice. Many of the people we film haven’t been in front of a professional camera setup before, it’s critical we have empathy with their experience, this guides much of our approach. Seldom do we meet such inspirational people as John and Alan.
Coming together. This was a joint venture between the Royal British Legion and Icarus originals. A truly perfect example of a retailer supporting a supplier, the end result is both parties benefit.

Final delivery. We delivered the video and then extracted the stills from our Red 5K footage, this methodology ensures a visual consistency of content across social platforms. In other words we capture once and supply twice.
