We thrive on finding solutions, tasked with creating a content library of branded lifestyle images and complicated Key Visuals for the markets of Latin America and Europe in the middle of a global pandemic with severe travel restrictions is the sort of challenge we love.
The first solution was to stay in London and find talent for the target regions within the UK’s diverse population, the whole world is literally here.
To make this project more fun/challenging a number of the images needed to be shot outside with a warm/summer feeling and we were now deeply into a London winter with short dark days.

Bring me sunshine.
Making Summer Sunshine in an English winter; the solution here was to shoot talent against a white background and comp them into outdoor backgrounds. The secret to realistic comps is light, good light requires space.
So we needed to find a location big enough for a large studio setup and potential home/lifestyle/cafe environments too. Thinking outside the box we identified a spacious restaurant as the ideal solution, being closed for Covid they welcomed the business.
This entire job required a perfect balance of technical approach and aesthetic awareness. The number of images we needed to create over two days was very ambitious, this was resolved with meticulous attention to planning.
Our photographer travelled to Spain (still warm in Winter) after the shoot to capture the outdoor background plates, the hospital plates were photographed in London. In each instance they were carefully matched with the camera setup and light.

We shot over two days, 1x Latam and 1x EU. Each day was styled for the territory including talent, clothing, props and furniture.
We spent 1x day pre-lighting and setting up, at the end of which we rehearsed and timed with the crew the move from one space to another, this was to ensure everything was tested and could be scheduled for the smoothest and most efficient execution.
Make being on set fun.
No one enjoys a pandemic. But this didn’t stop us from creating a safe, fun and relaxed on-set atmosphere.
A positive working environment isn’t just a great place to be, it’s a productive place to be.
